June 2016 to present: contact person for legal advice to members of the Consumer Movement – Biella-Vercelli Section.
Subjects: consumer and user rights, particularly in telecommunications services, electricity, water supply, and natural gas; savers’ and investors’ rights in banking and finance.

January 2016: member of AIAF (Italian Association of Family and Children Lawyers) – Vercelli Section.

October 2015 to present: collaboration with Randazzo&Roncarolo law firm stp in Vercelli.

Activities: drafting of court documents and opinions in civil matters, particularly in the areas of family law, consumer law, inheritance law, real rights, leases, condominium, traffic accidents and contractual and extra-contractual liability in general; participation in civil hearings in the Courts of the Piedmont territory and at the Court of Appeal of Turin. I use EasyPCT polis for the telematic civil process.

September 2015 to present: professional mediator accredited by Adr Piemonte (conciliatory body established at the Piedmont Chambers of Commerce) ex d.lgs. 28/2010, operating at the Vercelli Chamber of Commerce.

July 2015-February 2016: accredited professional mediator at the Forensic Mediation Body of the Asti Bar Association ex d.lgs. 28/2010.

January 2012-February 2016: Registration in the Bar Association of Alba (CN), then of Asti (AT) following the suppression of the Bar Association. Activities: legal advice in civil law, mainly out-of-court, particularly in real rights, leases and condominiums; in contractual matters (divisions, commodate, preliminary contracts, commercial leases and rents, issues in r.c.a, claims, in banking and consumer credit); conciliatory procedures in telecommunications matters before CO.RE.COM.; judicial legal advice in family law matters, particularly judicial and consensual separations, judicial and consensual divorces, changes in conditions, proceedings in juvenile matters, domestic adoptions.

January 2012-May 2015: postgraduate research activity as part of the doctoral course in Law, Person and Market, at the University of Turin – Department of Law, with research grant “Fondazione San Paolo”.

Research area: private and family law. Interdisciplinary profiles: criminal law, immigration law, family sociology. Main activities performed: bibliographic research of legislation, doctrine and case law in Italian, English and French on major specialized legal search engines. Qualitative research through interviews with privileged witnesses on the issues covered by the project. Study and analysis of national, international, and European legislation on immigration, with special reference to safeguarding the family union of the migrant subject (adult and minor). Use of immigration databases and tools for the protection of the rights of individuals seeking international protection made available by A.S.G.I. (Association for Legal Studies on Immigration). Developing and writing the research project underlying the doctoral thesis. Teaching activities assisting in university examinations in the subjects of family law for social services (Dr. Joëlle Long) and private law (Prof. Leonardo Lenti).

February 2012: citizenship training course “Stranieri in Italia” organized by the Intercultural Center of the City of Turin, with analysis of national legislation on the rights and duties of foreigners residing on Italian territory.

January 2011-December 2013: professional collaboration with Attorneys Andrea Vercelli and Silvia Merlino of the Foro di Alba (CN), now Foro di Asti (AT).
Activities performed: independent drafting of pro veritate opinions, judicial and extrajudicial civil acts; jurisprudential research on online databases (deiure); participation and assistance in hearing activities; independent interviews with clients.

Areas: civil law (inheritance law, divisions, real rights, condominiums, leases, major civil contracts, contractual and non-contractual liability, securities enforcement, separations, divorces, modification of conditions); criminal law (crimes under the jurisdiction of the Justice of the Peace and the Ordinary Court in single-member composition).

October 2011: licensed to practice law after passing the State Examination at the Turin Court of Appeals.

March 2011: registration on the list of practitioners qualified for legal aid at the Turin Bar Council.

February-May 2010: training internship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office – Ordinary Court of Turin, Anti-Mafia District Directorate section. Foster magistrate: deputy. proc. Roberto Maria Sparagna.

Activities performed: preparation of hearing activities, study of case file, assistance in drafting of prosecution documents, participation in hearings.

January-May 2010: training traineeship at the Ordinary Court of Turin, Civil Section IX, specialized in private and intellectual property rights and competent for the examination of appeals against the decisions of the Territorial Commission to reject the application for international protection ex art. 35, d.lgs. 25/2008. Foster judge: Silvia Vitrò. Activities performed: study of case files, in-depth study of institutes of substantive and procedural civil law in the field of industrial property ex d.lgs. 30/2005, in-depth study of institutes of immigration law on the subject of international protection of the migrant subject (requirements for the recognition of refugee status, subject to subsidiary protection or humanitarian protection), participation in hearings, assistance in the drafting of judgments and other court orders, including precautionary measures.

July-November 2009: training internship at the Ordinary Court of Turin – J.I.P. Office. Foster Judge: Immacolata Iadeluca.
Activities performed: preparation of hearing activities, discussion and practical study of some of the main institutes of substantive and procedural criminal law (crimes within the jurisdiction of the monocratic judge, competence, statute of limitations, conditions of prosecution, main acts issued by the g.i.p.), participation in hearings.

2008-2009: practicing law at the law firm Avv. Claudio Paolazzo in Turin.
Enrolled in the Register of Practitioners kept at the Turin Bar Council as of Oct. 20, 2008.

Activities performed: chancery activities, cooperation in drafting of opinions, judicial and extrajudicial civil acts, participation in hearings, assistance in interviews with clients, jurisprudential and doctrinal research activities on online databases (deiure, Laws of Italy), use of management system of the law firm Legal System activity.

Areas: inheritance law, divisions, rights in rem, condominiums, leases, civil and commercial contracts, particularly issues related to purpose loan agreements, liability in insurance contracts and medical/health care activities, securities and real estate enforcement proceedings, family law (separations, divorces, changes of conditions, including in multicultural contexts, domestic adoptions).

March-December 2007: training internship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office – Ordinary Court of Vercelli, Chief Prosecutor Giorgio Vitari.
Activities performed: in close contact with deputy prosecutors, analysis of the main institutes of criminal procedural law used in the investigative activity and the collection/investigation of the report of crime; assistance in the drafting of typical acts within the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office; assisting in the investigative activity of the judicial police, particularly in the “Weak Bands” office.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

May 2015: awarded the title of “doctor of research” in private law – family law sector – at the Turin School of Doctorate in Humanities and Social Sciences, course in Law, Person and Market, cycle XXVII.

Thesis title: “Content and limits of the individual right to respect for cultural identity in the family context. The case of circumcision and female genital mutilation.”
